About halfway through the 2023-2024 season, we recognized that an email newsletter could be an excellent opportunity to expand our audience and keep them informed about the Rockers. As a result, I was tasked with creating and producing all emails for the Motor City Rockers from January 2023 to April 2024. The emails generally fell into three distinct categories:
• Weekly newsletter
• Merchandise content
• Informational content for season ticket holders
To produce these emails, we utilized MailChimp, a marketing platform that helps businesses manage communication with their customers. MailChimp provides detailed tracking statistics and the ability to outline future content for marketing purposes.
In this portfolio, I have included examples from each category, along with the graphic header art that represents each section of the emails. These graphics feature artwork for themed game nights, playoff games, general merchandise deals, and more. All themed game night graphics are designed to be consistent with the visuals from the Rockers' promotional schedule.
